Imagine yourself, sitting outside on a lovely long warm Bahamas evening, sipping your ice cold beer, chatting with friendly locals and tourists, feeling like you belong, feeling like you have been part of this bar for all your life. You may well be at the Conch Kraal down at The Fish Fry (Arawak Cay). This is a really friendly place to have drink, enjoy some music, chat to locals and really be yourself.
Enjoying a quiet evening at the Conch Kraal - a visitor and a local chatting about cricket, english beer, favorite foods and where the best places are to eat in the Bahamas (amongst other subjects....)
Conch Kraal - I'm still not quite sure what a 'Kraal' is (is it the same as a village?), but nevertheless, this is a lovely relaxed bar where you can chat with friendly locals as well as visitors from all over the world.
The wonderful Jen, manager at The Conch Kraal - I'm hoping that the Kalik is for me.... please?
Freshly cooked snacks at The Conch Kraal - great value and delicious food, is the advantage when you have a beer and snacks at a locals bar...
Don't miss out on all the great things to see and do in the Bahamas - a good guide book can be really useful.
