Judging by the number of fried chicken joints that can be seen in the Bahamas, it must be one of the most popular foods. As well as the big brand fried chicken joints, there are also some very good locals places that make a mean fried chicken.

If you can find one of these places, using fresh local chicken, fresh oil and with homemade sauces and sides, you will be very happy

Fried Chicken - a portion of fried chicken from a takeaway in the city. Came with delicious sides of home made biscuit, corn and coleslaw and was well worth the trip. Now, if only I could remember exactly where I bought it. All I remember was that it was from a small 'hole in the wall' place in the city itself :)
